happy mom's day :)

My mom is the best!!!   Honestly.  No one else could be the super-mom she is :)

"An excellent wife who can find?
    She is far more precious than jewels. 

 The heart of her husband trusts in her,
    and he will have no lack of gain."  

(Proverbs 31:10-11)

She is content to enjoy the simple things in life, such as a Sunday afternoon walk in the woods (in which we may have gotten lost and had to check on directions back to our car ;)

"She looks well to the ways of her household
    and does not eat the bread of idleness. "

(Proverbs 31:27)

 She even spent the time exploring all the fun options of her new camera to try to catch us mid-air!

"Her children rise up [or jump up ;)] 

           and call her blessed;
    her husband also, and he praises her."

(Proverbs 31:28)

 After our woods adventures, we stopped by our favorite coffee place for a special treat :)  Each of us kids wrote a little note about why our mom was the best!

"She opens her mouth with wisdom,
    and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue."

(Proverbs 31:26)

See?  Isn't she the best?  And this week she's been running around like crazy, helping me accomplish everything on my life-to-do-before-Peru :)  I'm so thankful for my mother.  I going to miss her over the next 11 months...
