chanchito en la {sierra}

 La tierra de Perú tiene tres divisiones: la costa, la selva, y la sierra.  La costa es donde yo vivo- Lima (y otros pueblos cerca el mar).  La selva tiene muchas partes diferentes, y yo fui una vez a la ceja del selva- La Merced.  Despues nuestra viaje a Chinchil, yo he visitado los tres divisiones del Perú!  Y sabes que?

(just in case you didn't quite catch all that the first time, here it is in English ;)  The land of Perú has three divisions: the coast, the jungle, and the mountains.  The coast is where I live- Lima (and other little towns close to the ocean).  The jungle has many different parts and I've been to the "eyebrow" of the jungle- La Merced.  After our trip to Chinchil, I have visited all three divisions of Perú!  And guess what?  Chanchito went with me :)

Chanchito enjoyed spending the week with my Chinchil roommates: Lydia, Celia, and Maria.  He traveled in style on the backs of the burros to get to and from the remote town of Chinchil :)  But his adventure wasn't complete without spending the night (along with the rest of us), on the side of the Andes Mountains!  He might have been a little forgotten so he didn't get his picture taken there, but don't worry, he survived!
